It rains a lot in Kauai. Today looks like it is going to be one of those days. There are days when you experience a shower while being able to see patches of bright sun and there are days like today. The sky is gray and so is the ocean. You look out and one gray just blends in to the other.
Sometimes the rain gets out of hand causing serious flooding. We saw some of that the last time we were here with cars submerged in parking lots. Last year was very bad and some areas have yet to recover. I will have to add some photos of the damage.
