Green Sea Turtles

We have been seeing turtles in the tide pools below our lanai since we arrived. Yesterday we saw the first one on the sand beach

These animals are protected and ignore humans who may not ignore them.

The turtles we have seen this year are large, but maybe only 1/5 the size of those we saw last year. I have no idea if these are the same type of turtle or just much younger. The beach we see from our place would be much too small for the large turtles from last year.
