Furikake is one Hawaiian condiment we now consume year around. It is a combination of dried seaweed, dried fish, sesame seeds, and several other ingredients. Here we add it poke, but we use it at home on edemame. I decided to read a bit before I wrote this post and furikake is Japanese and first used as an addition to rice. The people of Kauai include a great variety of cultures and people.
